International Solar Energy Research Centre Konstanz e.V.

ISC Konstanz was founded at the end of 2005 by former employees of the University of Konstanz. Its research focuses on industry-oriented research into crystalline silicon photovoltaics. One line of research involves the manufacture of solar cells and modules from Cz-Si wafers using modern industrial equipment. In addition to cell research, research is also conducted into cell-cell connection technology, module reliability, and various system aspects.
