Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ASA U) is the only higher-education institution in Azerbaijan dedicated to training specialists in the field of agriculture. Founded originally through the Faculty of Agriculture at the Baku Polytechnic Institute in 1920, the institute was re-established in Ganja in 1931 and has since trained about 70,000 highly qualified specialists from various countries. The university hosts more than 6,500 students (domestic and international) across faculties including agronomy, veterinary science, engineering and zoo-engineering, soil science and agro-chemistry, agricultural economics and agrotechnology, as well as a Master’s training centre. With modern study buildings, dormitories, laboratories, auditoriums and experimental centres meeting modern standards, ASA U is well-positioned to partner in PV education, agrivoltaics and renewable energy for agriculture.
