Karshi Engineering Economics Institute (QMII), a renowned educational institution established in 1995 through the merger of Karshi Agrarian-Economics Institute and the Karshi branch of Tashkent Technical University. Located in the southern region of the Republic of Uzbekistan, specifically in Qashqadaryo province, QMII stands as a leading higher education center in the South Region, providing specialists to industries in four provinces: Qashqadaryo, Surhandaryo, Buhoro, and Samarqand.
QMII boasts six faculties that cover a wide range of disciplines: Economics, Oil and Gas, Energy, Industrial Technology, Vocational Education, and Agricultural and Water Engineering. With a student body of approximately 4,400, our institute follows a comprehensive two-level education system, offering baccalaureate and magistracy programs. Courses are conducted in both Uzbek and Russian languages, accommodating diverse linguistic backgrounds. QMII presents a rich selection of 33 courses in baccalaureate and magistracy across four specialties.
